Audio Podcast: Season 6, Episode 3

Episode 94 out of 100

Aloha everybody!

We at The Otaku 5-0 Show would like to thank everybody who took the time to vote on the polls posted on our website or on our Facebook page. For this week's poll, while Captain Jack Sparrow is at a 2-2 tie with The Dread Pirate Roberts on our Facebook page, he has taken a commanding 5-1 lead on our website poll with less than a day left to vote. Please vote in our newest poll (once again, on both sites) covering this week's installment of Defender!

But for now, sit back and enjoy the fruit of our labors.

Mahalo,
~Totoro (Executive Producer)

The Otaku 5-0 Show: 100 Million BC Audio Commentary

Aloha everybody!

Before I present to you our next audio commentary, allow me to first apologize on behalf of our staff for taking a while to get this to you. Please stay tuned, as our next audio podcast episode will be uploaded shortly.

There are basically two ways to do an audio commentary track - you can either take the film seriously or not - and most of our commentary tracks have been a mixture of both. But for this installment, the stars have aligned in such a fashion that the selected film is so shlocky that even the folks at MST3K would be proud.

An added bonus to this commentary is that you can actually consider it an "Unplugged" episode, which means you don't even need to watch the film along with us.

So sit back, relax and enjoy us sinking our collective teeth into a REALLY bad film.

DISCLAIMER: Our commentary track may not sync up perfectly with your DVD version of the film. Please adjust as necessary.

Mahalo,
~Totoro (Executive Producer)

Audio Podcast: Season 6, Episode 1

Episode 92 out of 100

Aloha everybody!

After what seems an eternity, our crack team of eccentric podcasters return for yet another season of entertainment-themed discussion and random hilarity!

But first, a little house-keeping. I would like to thank everyone who voted in the numerous polls that we posted during our hiatus. Here's a brief rundown:

-Ninjas defeated Pirates, 8-4
-Our Naruto vs. Bleach vs. One Piece poll ended in a surprising 3-way tie! (1 vote each)
-Inception was our pick for the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture (Drama), but congrats to the eventual winner The Social Network!
-Our XBox 360 (1 vote) vs. Wii (4 votes) vs. PlayStation 3 (4 votes) resulted in a split decision.
-The Empire Strikes Back was the runaway favorite film in the Star Wars saga!

Additionally, we would like to wish all our fans (both new and old) a very prosperous year in 2011, with the hope that you continue to take a little bit of time out of your daily lives to hang out with us on The Otaku 5-0 Show.

So, please sit back and enjoy the fruit of our labors!

Mahalo,
~Totoro (Executive Producer)
