Otaku 5-0 Season 2: Episode 3

Aloha everybody!

I am pleased to present the next episode of our podcast!

This episode in particular marks the return of Neko-X to our podcast staff (this time in his new position as Video Game & Blu-Ray Contributor.) Also joining us on the panel on short notice is Star, our Film & Book Contributor.

While I am proud of all the episodes I have produced, this episode in particular now holds a special place in my heart as another prime example of Otaku 5-0's lighthearted style (click here for the first example.) Just like I said before, this is what "talking story" is all about, folks.

Stay tuned to this site for more episodes and feature articles as our 2nd Season continues!

Mahalo,
James "Totoro" Kamakahi

I would have to say that this is one of my favorite episode so far! It made me reminisce of my past of watching anime so early in the morning and Saturday night. Oh man those days... I remember waking up so early just to catch Yu-Gi-Oh! It's unfortunate that kids these days don't get the experience we had back then.

Btw, I'm a hardcore DB fan but not that hardcore... I did watch it from 1st to last (not GT however) episode and read every (maybe miss like one or two actually) chapter in the manga. So... I have to be honest but I am interested in see the DBZ movie because I would like to see how they are going to go about with the story. The story might disappoint me but I just want to check it out.

I would love to come to the panel at Kawaii Kon. Hopefully I have enough time to step away from Registration. Just wondering if you guys already reserved a panel or something. If not then you should email Chris Macedonio (Vice-Chairman) or Jason Kaawa (Events Director). I think right now they are taking ideas and such but I may be wrong.

Quick comments
- I would like to see a Metal Gear movie. One way they could possibly not screw it up is by making series like LOTR... just a thought, but it might work.
- I was actually at Wal-Mart thinking about buying the Zack and Miri movie. I did not because I wasn't sure but now I wil :D

Keep up the good work!

Sorry let me correct myself...

They are taking ideas right now. You can simply find it in the Kawaii Kon Fan Panels 2009 under Events and Guests. There's a form you can submit. Again if you guys are on it then that's awesome!
